Title: amulegui connection error
Post by: Androider on February 21, 2025, 12:19:48 PM
Hello everyone,
I have a problem on openSuse Tumbleweed with aMule. Granted that I've been using it without problems since 2018, since last week I can't get it to run, despite doing NOTHING and still using the same old bash script, written by me many years ago.

The problem is: amuled starts (full-daemon, and I see it with “ps -ef”) but amulegui says it has connection problems with localhost.

The error is:
“Connection failed. Unable to connect to localhost:64712.
Connection failed.”

I also tried running amuleweb but it too goes to error.

Any ideas?

In addition I can say that in the firewall the ports are open (both TCP and UDP) and that the commands used are:
/usr/bin/amuled --full-daemon --pid-file=/home/my_user/.aMule/MyLog/amuled.pid --log-stdout

/usr/bin/amuleweb --write-config --password=my_password --admin-pass=my_password --host=localhost --port=64712 --server-port=64711 --deny-guest

/usr/bin/amulegui --log-stdout --skip

Thank you in advance for your answers.
