Title: search command in amulecmd
Post by: RRT4 on December 22, 2005, 11:38:42 PM
aMulecmd$ search Local|Global|Kad
...please wait search results
...got, type 'vr' for the results list

aMulecmd& vr
1) ...
2) ...
3) ...

aMulecmd& download add # <---position of the files in the results list
...file # has been added to your download list

aMulecmd& download rm # <---position of the file in the download list
...file # has been removed from your download list

such type of commands existed in old edonkey/overnet linux command line clients
and were very useful

tnx

Yes, I'd really like this option, at least the search one.

For remove donwloading files, I think this could be much an issue, and maybe you could refere to a file with it's hash, so someone will use that printed field for something... ;))

i forgot to mention that overnetclc had a confirmation dialog for removing downloading files
every files in download list was labeled with a number when displayed with 'vd' command (corresponding to 'show dl' in amulecmd)

amulecmd$ download rm 1
...are you sure you want to remove files 'some_name.some_extension' from you download list?(yes/NO)

in a download list with 5 files, removing file #3 implied that file #4 became #3 and #5 became #4, i think downloading files were sorted about priority at default
so if you wanted to remove many files subsequently, you needed to check every time the number in the download list
