then could you redownload?
this was fixed actually...
at least I hope so :]
-
okay i just re-downloaded
however the same result - it's not opening.
This is the procedure i made:
1. trashed/deleted current 2.1.0
2. went to link a.mule.org in my notification email
3. the blue link - amule 210 mac.zip - in the blurb NOT working so i selected DOWNLOAD in the
lefthand menu space
4. selected first/top entry - a.mule.zip (binary for osx system)
5. selected - 565 downloads
6. selected mirror berliOS - amule zip
downloaded and unpacked itself straight into an app/folder - no zip as with cvs
clicked on and tried to open the app - animated opening but nothing else..............

well that explains my troubles -
i presume that thread took place just now - so i wait till the Mr. app builder gets to
remaking the app on Panther which sounds like good practice to folk like myself........

Hi
Had exactly the same problem as twinkerzzz. Got it working now. What I did:
1. Deleted everything related to 2.0.3 including aMule folder in Library>Application Support.
2. Deleted any aMule 2.1.0.zip's downloaded today.
3. In effect, no trace of anything aMule left in my drive.
4. Now, re-downloaded aMule 2.1.0.zip from BerliOS.
5. Unzipped by Stuffit and then placed in my Applications folder in my HD.
6. Double-clicked on the aMule icon (weird, mule icon has a white circle with line through it.Why?).
7. All working perfectly.
8. Uploading my shared files no problem.
9. Did a test search for a file within aMule, double clicked to Download. All OK.
So far so good!!
PS Running fully updated OSX 10.4.3

@granaino

-
Ha! Ha!
Stefanero, You must have posted your reply at the same time as I was editing mine to include the PS about running 10.4.3.
All the best

hi okay
by hook n crook i think ive worked out whats happened.
The mac binary for 2.1.0 was built on tiger (os 4) which means its not working on
panther.......
apparently those who should know have just clocked it and will sort it out soon.
I think this solves it unless you know any different.
tnx
