Hi All
Would be cool, to also have the total number of sources in the graphical statistics, so it would be easier to compare different settings in the preferences....
aMule rocks! 8)

well imho its quite useless, why do u wanna see the amount of found sources? you can see what it currently is in the transfer window, and i dont think there are any settings to increase or decrease it...
-
ok, maybe I was a bit unclear. I would like to see the total number of source that I am "on the queue". (It's just easier to have it calculatet by my pc, than doing it everytime in my head...)
My experience is, that the more sources I am in the queue the more downloads I'll get. So one should try to optimize the preferences to maximize that value.
But maybe I'm wrong...

What about the 'Found Sources' field on stats?
-
there is a setting to increase the max sources per file, I guess thats what you are looking for - and you want to see the available amount of sources so you can set the max to about that? I dont really see the use, imho then just set it very very high, but thats not that good too cuz I guess your pc has to keep in contact with all those sources isnt it?!?!?

@Kry
Yes and No. That's the total of know sources, but I would like to see the total of source where my aMule is queued. Like in the transfer window where you have:
Name: File1 Sources: 60/80
Name: File2 Sources: 50/90
In this case, number of found sources in the statistics window would show:
170
I would like to show it:
110/170
@superstoned
The bigger the first value (110) the more downloads you can expect. For this reason I'm playing with different parameters in the preferences. Your right, just setting the number of know sources to a big value is not sufficient, you have to find a nice balance of different parameters (number sources, max connections, connections per 5 sec, source dropping, .....)
