Title: [AmuleWeb] Download completed file from amuleweb
Post by: Plasma on January 18, 2006, 02:44:27 PM
Hi all!

First: thank'you for a so good piece of software!

Starting from amule 2.0.3 i use only amuled+amuleweb on a remote machine (my home gentoo based router/firewall/ecc)

What about the capability of retrieving completed downloaded files directly from the web page "Shared Files" ? The filenames listed in this page (only completed of course) can be created as link, so the user can download it directly from the browser and save it on his local pc.

I know that is amuled process and not amuleweb to phisically access the files in incoming/, and in some setup amuleweb could not be on the same machine as amuled...  maybe this can complicate the implemetation of a feature such this...  but in the case amuleweb is on the same machine, a direct http link to the file can be created.

What do you think?  Can be useful?

Thank you! :)

When I read this, I can only say "what ???????". You wanna access your files remotely - setup ftp server. Or web server (real one). Or NFS, or Samba, or .
It will do the job so much better.
