Title: Could not create socket on :4711

hello!
I am successfully starting amuled and when I am starting amuleweb, I can see:
WSThread: Thread started
aMuleweb$ WSThread: could not create socket on :4711

Why does this latter appear?

maybe because you set in amule.conf

webserver = 1

this would automatically start amuleweb at amuled start...

check with

ps ax | grep amule

what might be alread running...

if no amuleweb is present check with

netstat -ntpl

what blocks port 4711
