Title: Blocking messages

Is there a way to block users who send annoying messages? In Preferences -> Message Filter -> 'Filter messages containing' I have listed the offending username, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

I'm using aMule 2.1.0 on FreeBSD 5.5

filter the message, not the username.
