amule lauch under root, but not under user

I can start amule when i'm logged with root, but as a normal user i cannot. And as i read that we should not start amule as root... it would be great if a solution could be found...

here's the backtrace:

lol eMule and wine have fun :))

if you want to fix your startup crash, try to move away your old .aMule dir

cd /home/username

mv .aMule .aMule_bak

and restart

ok i must admitt, i can almost not read what is written... but it works! i dunno what the problem is for amule.. not an expert anough

well if the

"mv .aMule .aMule_bak" works for you

this means taht some files and / or settings from your previous amule installation are screwed up and tahts why aMule crashes...
