I know these issues are addressed in the "common problems" section and someone else posted about this but I've tried everything and nothing worked so I'm posting this anyway.
I've got an iBook G4 running Mac OS X with File Vault turned on (I tried turning it off but it says that I need another 4072.5 GB free disk space to do so... which is just not going to work.
Anyway, last night I shut down my computer (I've only just started running aMule on it again so this was my first shut down since) and it took forever to shut down. In fact, by the time I woke up this morning it still hadn't shut down so I just pressed the power button (it took a while to start up again though) and now all of my partial downloads have disappeared. The *.part, *.part.met and *.part.met.bak files are all still there in the temp folder but they just won't appear when running aMule, except for one file which is 100% complete but won't actually complete. In other words, it's all downloaded but hasn't been completed properly which means that I can only view it by preview it through aMule. I noticed that in the help section it says something about running a command but I don't know how to do that on a Mac since I've only recently switched from Windows XP.
Any help on either of these problems will be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone knows why my iBook won't shut down properly, please let me know. I had this problem before when I was running aMule on it a month ago and now it's back. I've never had this problem before so I assume it must be related to aMule.
Thank you!
