I made a mistake, how can I repair it?
« on: September 01, 2006, 05:13:42 PM »

Hi to anyone,

I had a very very big problem with my amule... I had the brillant idea to improve the shared dir, but I forgot that the program make a check if the dirs are empty... the problem is that the dirs I tried to share are so big and with a lot of subdirs that the program crashs (better, stop during the beginning process).

Anyone knows please where I can change the share-dirs in the command line mode?
Or which is the file that has the parameters of the share-dirs? (I checked the amule.conf without success).

Thanks a lot

stop the aMule (if still running or anything)

and edit

/home/username/.aMule/sharedir.dat

all dirs should be in there...
