Hi,
didn't know quite where to put this post, but honestly, this project kicks balls and I wanted to tell someone

I've used eMule for windows for quite a while, and when I went looking for alternatives for linux the first time I found the original ed2k client. It took me several days just to get everything working right, and when it did, it wasn't exactly rock-stable.. So, I soon gave it up and went back to running eMule on windows, that was about a year ago.
Since I recently set up my own server again I thought I'd look into what possibilites I had apart from the official one. I found aMule, and by golly I'm glad I did

I set the thing up and got it working with a GUI (from my win box) and web interface (so I can stare at it when bored at work) in something like an hour. Your wiki is amazing(!), I found guides for pretty much everything I wanted. Migration from eMule->aMule. Complete directions for getting it working with Debian 3.1, including that nifty startup script and lots of other stuff.
Now it's been running 4 days straight, completely stable, and fast as eMule ever was. Like I said earlier, it's not a question, but I didn't really know where to post it (oh, and yes you'll get a little something via paypal I think, just need to remember my password)
Thanks!
