Hi everybody!

Any idea why I get the errors when downloading nodes.dat and server.met files? What's error 14? (Bad address, yeah, but firefox downloads the files just fine) and even worst, if I download the files with firefox, and put them in the homefolder of amule, it will not use them, still complain of "no valid servers..." ideas please? It's not a problem with permissions on either home folder, or aMule's folder (tried changing them to 777 and same error happens) I even tried running as root, and same thing.

Any idea is greatly appreciated.

hmm...yes, i think exactly the same, but I cannot see where the problem might be, since the home folder is OK, aMule's folder is OK (it can create the cryptkey.dat, and other necessary files, and it creates the Incoming and Temp folders), so I really cannot see the problem. I was thinking may because wxGTK was built using unicode, maybe solaris has some broken support for unidoe, or a crazy think like that. I really do not know what to do with this, since these are the binaries I plan to release for solaris x86, but if they are not correctly built, I obviously will not release them.

Thanks!

Ok, well this worked in getting me servers, and now I've tried several different .mets from around the web, but I can't f'n connect to ANYTHING.  What gives?  I have ver. 2.1.3, which I'm assuming is the reason.  Please someone help!
