amule memory consume

Hi amule users  ;)

I use amule (v. 1.2.4) and I'm very happy with all the P2P functionality !
Except with the "brutal" consume amount of memory !!!  :(
almost 80-90% of my memory ... my system has 1024Mb of RAM !
and I do not understand why a program like this can consume so much memory??

Thus any one as the same problem ?? And it can be solved ??

And why not 1.2.6? it's much better on that issue :)
