Connect to more than one servers?
« on: October 24, 2006, 06:05:47 PM »

Hi!

Does aMule v2.1.3 lets you connect to more than one servers in Linux/Debian? Or is only one server allowed to be connected?

Thank you in advance. :)

The emule protocol only allows a client to connect only to one server at a time.

However, requests for sources are sent to all the servers in the list periodically.

Thanks for the quick reply.

MLDonkey breaks the eMule protocol.

That adds a lot of unnecessary stress on the servers and its not a very welcomed feature for that.

Interesting. Oh well. Is it better to connect to a server with a lot of files and users than the less populated ones?
