No servers
« on: December 16, 2006, 07:06:41 PM »

I've been online with amule for a short time and it worked.  Now, I've started getting this message and can't go any further, "No valid servers found in server list."

I saw a help message solution for this, but it didn't help me.  Maybe, i went about the help incorrectly.  Can anyone help with this?

try replacing the server list url in the connection window from whatever is already there to this instead:

http://www.srv1000.com/azz/server.met

and click the blue arrow to the left of it.  then you should get a whole bunch of servers.

(this was the problem i had)

Thanks,
that seemed like a simple fix, but it didn't work.  Same result.  Maybe it is a problem with the ports or something.  But it worked last week.  As far as i know, i didn't change any on the settings.  I coopied the one from my windows PC and got the same thing.  So, Must be the ports of something else.

exactly the same problem, the server list is empty, and it's impossible to download, i tried both

http://ocbmaurice.dyns.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-best.met
and
http://www.srv1000.com/azz/server.met

any suggestion?
Thanks

Could you please try to add a server per link/manually?

I followed your advice.
Connection established on: ChezToff:ed2k
After the connection it automatically downloaded the server list. Strange bug.
Many thanks for your help!
