can't connect thru SSH Tunnel
« on: March 05, 2007, 07:52:41 PM »

New to aMule and use Mac OS 10.3.9.  I've tried to configure it to access network through SSH Tunnel service thru proxy settings on Preferences in aMule but keep getting a 'connections lost' notice.
I configured aMule to use the Tunnel's port (4910) and have tried to then configure the Connections tab in aMule to use that same  TCP port, and also tried using regular 4662 ports and default UDP settings. In all cases I get a 'connections lost' when trying to connect to servers. A previous poster, who is also in Portugal, is receiving a similar problem (see post this forum by Ludgero1966) and so I'm wondering if its my ISP that's blocking ed2K network, or whether its a config problem? Any advice out there? THanks

Well, I've determined that I can connect through the default TCP/UDP settings if I don't go through a proxy-Secure Tunnel. So the problem is the routing
through the tunnel. Any configuration help or hints on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
