Unsuccessful searching in aMule
« on: May 16, 2007, 02:05:50 PM »

Hello!

I used as yet eMule on WinXP, but now I would like to using aMule on Ubuntu in the same LAN. The install of aMule was successfull. I have a router, where the portforwarding is already updated for the new ubuntu machine. On aMule I become a HighID at the connection of a server. But when I try to searching a file in the Search  Panel of aMule, find it nothing. With the same word on the WinXP I found a lot of availability. Why is it? The Searching Panel of aMule is a little difficult for me, so I left all in the normal position. Local search. What should I make for a successful searching? Help Plz!

Thx.

Hi All!

I resolved the problem, thx to Treviño! I had an earlier version of aMule, and by this the searching was not functional. Now I have installed the 2.1.1 version, what was complied from Treviño. Unfortunately the installation of version 2.1.2 it was unsuccessful, what I have downloaded too from Treviño's website.

Bye!

Yes, I know, but I haven't found any compiled version of 2.1.3 for ubuntu breezy. With apt-get (or aptitude) is only 1.2.1 or something.
If you have it, then can you publishing it please?
