You must patch aMule 2.1.3 to link it with wx-2.8. If you want to do this, you can search the forums for the thread that explains it. I think there is a link in the "news" forum.

Why don't you use our cvs tarball? It is the code that will become aMule 2.2.0. The problems we have are on non-linux platforms.

I have quite the same problem...
I use aMule under Ubuntu 7.04..
This is what happen to me.... =(

Now, exiting main app...
aMule OnExit: Terminating core.

It's strange... never had this problem before with the same distro...

This looks like a problem with your hard disk or file system to me, could you please do a full file system check?
