Nice work skolnick. Ran the program and it loaded the .met straight up; displayed everything just fine. One thing though I don't how long you've worked with it but in my case the programm crashes after 5 minutes or so. I'll install the latest updates on my OS tomorrow and let yout know if that helped.
Anyway thank you for the time you've put into this.

Best Regards,

Fred

Hi

I'm glad it worked for you, at least 5 minutes :P.I have not worked much in it. It has huge room for optimizations and improvements, since it was born simply as a test software to help me understand the structure of the files used by aMule. . I have coded a bit these last days (added column sorting among other couple of things). It's strange that crashes, however, since it does nothing but read the files and close them...when does it crash? after loading many files? is there a specific file which crashes it all the time? maybe you could help me improve this, so it could be useful for more people.

Regards.

Edit: Are you using the SUN JRE to run the software? or the GNU java? I have used always the SUN JRE 1.5.0, and have not experienced any crash.

Hi there again.
I must apologize for not posting this sooner but I've encountered some problems with my isp.
Anyway I did install Sun's JRE and your software works like a charm. Only takes a second to load files and did not crash once  :D
Thanks again for all the time you've put into this.

Best Regards,

Hi!

I tested your file and found (and possibly fixed) the bug that happened to you. Please test this new version of the software, and tell me if it suits to your needs.

Regards.

Hi Skolnick
I used your little program. Thanks!
Is there any order to the order in which the known files are displayed in? Is it possible to have them arranged by date? That would be extremely useful!
Thanks very much!
Justin

P.S. And is the date displayed, the date the file was created, or the date it was downloaded? Thanks!
