When I start a search, aMule is fine at first. About 15 seconds in, it becomes completely unresponsive. The search results found so far box turns grey (results disappear), and I can't do anything (switch to downloads, clear search, search for something else, etc). Even option-clicking in the background fails to hide the window, and it's a toss-up whether double-clicking the title bar will minimize the window.
This persists for maybe 5-10 minutes, and then suddenly aMule pops up fine again. I presume this is some time after the search is over.
This started about the same time I noticed that running two searches concurrently completely suspended the first one, and only produced results in the second.
As a programmer, this seems to me like a multithreading syncronization problem. Will it be fixed in the next version?
I'm on OSX 10.4.11, running the UB aMule version.
