aMuleGUI in pipeline?
« on: July 31, 2008, 10:29:25 PM »

Hello,

one quetion. Is there perhaps again - like in aMule 2.1.3 - an aMule remote GUI in the pipeline? For 2.2.1 or perhaps for the upcoming 2.2.2?

I'm sorry, but I avoid to compile things under windows, I prefer to use Linux, but some friends...
They would like to upgrade to 2.2.x (4gig-limitation,...), there is an amuled running without an X-server and the clients are only running windows. Im afraid to say, but WebGUI is no alternative.

Perhaps one of the Developers can tell me, if the aMule remote GUI for windows (an exe-installer) will be maintained?

Thanks in advance!

The remote gui is still maintained. There are some connection problems which need to be adressed before it becomes really useful however.
I don't think there will be a installer. Someone will provide Windows binaries for 2.2.2, just run them.

The windows installer for 2.2.2 will contain aMuleGUI among other useful utilities. Just make sure you select it when installing. I won't create any separate binaries or installers, others may.
