Trying to use amule on a server..
« on: January 10, 2009, 01:31:49 AM »

Alright I setup an Ubuntu Server, version 8.10 after much work and whatnot I can ssh into it from my ArchLinux box.

After the ssh login I run "amulecmd" and this is what I get

Code: [Select]
This is amulecmd 2.2.2

Creating client...

..and thats it. I tried to check if there was a config file, cd to my home directory..and there was no .aMule folder.

What do I do o.O

Edit:

Alright I ran amuled out of pure luck from ssh then it told me to run amuled --ec-configure I did, and that started amule..I didn't realize it actually had to be running to use amulecmd

I thought amulecmd started amule.

I feel a bit stupid :D

Using amuleweb was just as easy..just had to make sure amule was running first..heh.
