After compilation problem
« on: January 18, 2011, 12:25:51 PM »

Hello everybody sorry for my english.
I have a problem after the compilation of Amule 2.2.6 using wxGTK2 v2.9.1 on ArchLinux, this is the message in the terminale:
Code: [Select]
Assertion failed: ./include/wx/strvararg.h:wxArgNormalizer:449: Assertion '(argtype & (wxFormatStringSpecifier<T>::value)) == argtype' failed. format specifier doesn't match argument typeand the program close itself.
Does anyone know a solution?
P.S. I compiled the program with wxgtk 2.9.1 cause of the memory overflow problem

aMule 2.8 2.2 does NOT work with wx 2.9. If you want to try wx 2.9 use aMule SVN. 2.9 does NOT work well with aMule yet though (networking problems). If I remember correctly, 2.9.1 doesn't work either. Some SVN version did, but the current has new problems.

Oh boy, how long have I been asleep that aMule 2.8 is out?  :D

Correct. The traybar icon is causing assertions to fail continuously. I have not yet been able to figure out why.
