How to install aMule on Mac? Error: You can't open the application "aMule.app"

I unpacked aMule-2.3.2. When I double click on aMule.app it is grey and has a bar accross the sign. I get the message: You can't open the application "aMule.app" because it may be damaged or incomplete.

What to do?

Same for me; I'unable to make it work. :-\
what about a .dmg file for the beginners ?  ::)

Hi. I am hoping to give this thread a jog. I had and have been using aMule for many years and it suddenly stopped working although I had changed nothing in the router and Mac firewall configurations. So after much fiddling around, I have deleted the application, downloaded it in .zip format from both of the two sources and in both cases, after unpacking the .zip folder, regardless of whether I use The Unarchiver, Archive Utility, Stuffit Expander or Pacifist, get the same error message as the two correspondents above. Is there any fix for this?
