very few search results
« on: October 26, 2003, 02:53:02 PM »

Hello,

im running amule 1.1.0 on a Mandrake 9.1 System and amule can find enough search results.
When i switch to xmule 1.6.0 with the same settings, it retrieves many more results on the same keywords.

Is this a known problem?

Greetings,
qafco

I dunno, but for me amule 1.1.0 is quite slow too... in fact, even after being online for days, it just shows downloadrates of some 2-3 k/sec... very bad, imho. Emule is worse than edonkey, and xmule is worse than emule (if you compare download/upload and sources) and amule seems to be worse than xmule? its strange, cuz amule isnt that much different from xmule...

anyway, I just hope this improves. I have no clue why these problems are there.

launch aMule always with the cmd ->

export LANG=C && export LC_ALL=en_EN && export LANG=en_EN && export LC_MESSAGES=C && amule

and look here: http://amule.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48
