Problem with aMule 1.2.3
« on: January 06, 2004, 12:32:30 PM »

I've installed the last "generic" rpm (v1.2.1) and it works... to do so I had to pass the --nodeps option to 'couse even though I've installed all the libs it depends on it still doesn't recognize them. After this it runs fine...
Then I tried to install the suse rpm for the 1.2.3 version using the same rpm option. It produced an error on starting up... error with /usr/lib/libstdcc++.... I was trying to install it in a RH8.0 box... then I tried to install it in a Fedora and it worked. Then I copied the fedora version of the lib wich produced the error in the RH8.0. And it works...
the problem is that the http based controller runs well in the 1.2.1 version but with the v1.2.3 suse rpm it just doesn't start.
Any ideas?

Post Scriptum - Both boxes produce compilation errors uppon make in both versions of the tar ball.

Both RH8.0 & Fedora Core 1 produce compilation errors when I run the makefile
