uploads continue after closing aMule
« on: May 30, 2005, 02:31:36 PM »

Interesting. I'm on 56k at the moment but when I close the mule and ckeck my KPPP statistics, uploading continues for 5-10 minutes. I'm running Mandrake 10.1 and performance is good, especially after I tweaked the tcp/ip settings.

sure its amule itself uploading? most often later requests come from clients which were on your queue before, and now requeck if your mule is still up.
so this could cause traffic even after your mule is closed

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."
