Tray icon and mouse click

I noticed that with aMuleCVS running on KDE 3.4.2 (wxGTK 2.6.1) only the non-transparent area of the tray icon reacts to a mouse click, so I often click beside it *g
Is this a wxwidgets problem or could this be fixed?
