Search Question
« on: October 01, 2005, 03:25:20 PM »

Hi,

I've noticed it's not possible to do WWW searches with spaces from amule - e.g.

'great expectations' doesn't work but

'great_expectations' does...

Is this just the way it is and does everyone just use underscores?

Thanks,

Mad Monkey

you mean using amuleweb? which version? I have never seen this behavior. What do you mean "it's not possible to do WWW searches with spaces from amule"? no search results? or emule crashes or something?

Regards.

Hi,

What I mean is if I go to the Searches Window (the magnifying glass) in amule (not amuleweb) and do a search for something with spaces in it, this works fine if it's a Local or Global Search, but does not work if I do a WWW Filehash or Jugle search. However, if I put in underscores instead of spaces, the search then works.

So, for example, a search for "some thing 3" will not open a browser and display filehash results, whereas a search for "some_thing_3" will.

Thanks,

Madmonkey
