Compiling without X11
« on: February 28, 2006, 03:05:59 PM »

Hi, I would very much like to be able to compile aMule without having to also install X11.
My server doesnt like to have bloated un-neccesary GUI's on it, and I agree completely with my server.

So, is there a way?

I've tried compiling only CLI, daemon and web interface - but aMule STILL wants X11.

The thing is, that I think it would be awesome to have an eMule client which is only a daemon, and is only maintained through a web interface.

Benefits? Well, for one, this solves a lot of privacy issues- (For me, at least)
