I still think users will switch applications before they switch isp.

I don't care if it was only  the opinion of thedude or the entire team.  Like you don't (should...) not care about my opinion.  8o  :))  :]

And some will switch both. So what is your point ?

Technical problems must be fixed. Legal problems arising from program use/misuse/abuse are up to users to deal with.
Want fight for freedom of speech against RIAA/MPAA ? Great. Hire a lawer, go to demostration, sign petition and so on.
Want to enforce DMCA laws and fight piracy ? Great too. Press charges thru your law enforcement authorities, contact police or whatever.

All those have nothing to do with fact that protocol encryption in p2p is waste of time, effort and bandwidth.

You're so close to getting a warning :) We told you, it is NOT gonna happen, and you should drop the subject. As you can see on the new sticky post, this kind of threads will be directly closed.

This is not eMule forum. I don't want 8 pages of mindless discussion here. let's keep the forum tidy. This is feature requests, and the answer to that request is: NO.

Ok, I started a list of isp you better avoid with eMule ( & aMule)

fee free to add isp in this wiki:

http://www.filesharingweb.de/mediaWiki/index.php/English:List_of_Bandwidth_throttling_ISPs

(please do not take this as a sign of promoting encryption! protocol obfuscation still give a very very bad expierence as only 0.01% off all users use this. )
