2 o 3 hours after I've sterded the amule section I'm no more able to surf in internet with my browser (firefox or mozzilla)...it blocks kopete too...
I've an ADSL 640Kb/300Kb and a D-link 302-T modem.
My connection parameter are:
Upload = 10 KB
Download = 80KB
max connection = 250
max source = 300

You could try reducing the max connections to 100-150 or so and the "Max new connections / 5 secs" (in Preferences->Core Tweaks) to 10.
