Hello all!! Anybody more would like if amule would have .torrent support?
There is another clients which having it (as elephant)

Anyway , take a look at hydranode(hydranode.com), might be interesting for you.

i think it is a good idea. we could distribute .torrent files over edonkey , we could make ed2k-links for .torrent files on linkboards (so no loading of torrents from http-websites, but just clicking a ed2k link for that torrent)... this would mean that we could create .torrent files within ed2k-hash inside, so a torrent will ever work, eiterh over torent or, if the seed or tracker is down, over the ed2k hash inside the torent.. this would redefine torrent totally towards edonkey and ed2k would get back more users.

Would like to see torrent support in a very dirty and basic way..

that's right, it's aMule, not some P2P program where all that matters is 'speed'

oh, and btw, the TS could've spared trouble opening this topic, by reading some other topics or the FAQ

You're free to share torrent files and give them 'release'-priority which will amount more or less in what you were thinking about.
Now go over and persuade some link boards to use and share torrents in ed2k instead of hosting them directly and you're done.
