Firewalled KAD

hi,

no matter what nodes.dat address i out in my bar, it says that my kad is firewalled and i can't get any use out of it.

can someone help me un-firewall my kad.

It's the same problem as with lowID, forward your UDP port.

Patience. If you are sure, that your UDP port is not blocked, you just have to wait a couple of minutes.

btw: the nodes.dat shouldn't have any influence on your Kademlia status as long as Kad is running.

When you are strapping give it a min or to when connecting to kad nodes. Normally when i first start my also says firewalled but later becomes okay. I have over 1000+ nodes connected at any given time under KAD. Now if you did port froward and allowing it and still says it then recheck your settings.
