amule crashes shortly after start
« on: August 13, 2007, 05:54:23 PM »

Hello,

amule crashes nearly always after downloading the serverlist.

I'm runnig Fedora 7 (full patched: core, updates, livna), with the Fedora-wxGTK2.8 and amule 2.1.3-3 as a single package from freshrpms.

Previously I tried the combination of amule-2.1.3-2 (livna) and wxGTK2.6 (fedora), which was slightly more stable on my system, but not really satisfying (crashes after a few hours or so).

Here is the backtrace:

-------------------------------------start------------------------------------------------

There is another error message at startup:
execvp(amuleweb, --amule-config-file=/home/chow/.aMule/amule.conf) failed with error 2!

Don't know if this has to do with the crash.

Hope anybody can help me. Thanks

Chow

OK, I'm not sure whether it is the same crash, but yes. But I cannot reproduce it, no matter what I try.

I get it every time.  I'm on Ubuntu Feisty, all patches.
