Upload with router
« on: November 28, 2007, 02:09:48 AM »

How do you control amule uploads with computers on a router so that it is efficient and doesnt make problems. Does amule have something like uss. Is a qos router the best solution.

you put an upload limit in preferences. No, amule has no USS and AFAIK it will not be implemented.

USS requires access to ICMP, basically to do a "ping", but that requires suid. It is not a good idea to suid aMule. That is why it was not implemented.

Cheers!
