aMule won't connect to servers

Sorry, new to all this. ....I've installed aMule on my MacBook, I've adjusted upload / download rates, I've got a server list, but it will not connect to a server. ANY server. Any help appreciated. Tx

Hello!
Did you get any hints on your problem? I have the same problem. I just installed Amule on my IMAC and it stays disconnected even if I am sure that my internet connection is working well and I went through all the indication of the wiki. Let me know. If I got to know something i'll let you know!

My iMac also can't download the server list and connect...

how to setup?     ???

hello again!
i don't know if this will help but my problem was because of the type of connection I have... I am connect in Italy with Fastweb (fibra ottica). By surfing on the net i  found out that i had to use a specific program of amule which is Amule Adunanza which is working on kad.
With Adunanza it works very well on kad but i still have a low ID on ed2k... sheers. :)
