hard disk loop with amule and kubuntu
« on: December 29, 2007, 10:03:52 AM »

I use Kubuntu 7.10 and amule 2.1.3 in a few weeks amule make crazy my hard disk after a while 'time is connected. There's no connection or kad network problem. The hard disk starts reading and writing endless and the PC is blocked. I tried to install an amule CVS version (mid-December), but the problem was not solved. Reading around seems that the problem is due to version 7.10 of ubuntu, but I do not find solutions.
With kubuntu 7.04 and amule 2.1.3 I never had problems.
Who can help me?
THANKS

have you checked the memory usage of your computer? maybe there is a memory leak somewhere that causes your PC to start paging a lot, which causes the perception of a lot of hard drive usage.

Regards.
