i had similar and solved mine by reducing upload bandwith to 80%

as i had around 1000 downloads...

That is not an option to me...

I can use up to ~52Kb/s of upload (completely stable), and the last time it crashed my upload was 36Kb/s.

I had realized that, amule only crashed when I was working on the computer.

Today I'm working with matlab, and it's the first time I open Firefox, no crashes either....


I think is safe to conclude that, firefox affects my amule performance. I'll try to check if this happens with konqueror too. If the problem is firefox+amule, I'll just leave firefox (konqueror is faster anyway :P)
