May be i'm doing something wrong, but when i try to install it with yast nothing happens. Yast reads RPM database and desappears.

I have the same problem.

I sent an email to IhmSelbst about this. last night, but he hasn't responded so far.

I do notice that this RPM is only 6.4mb on the download, while the last release is 16+Mb. The last release installs fine.

I suspect that either the file has been corrupted or truncated somehow. :'(

There's another SUSE rpm of aMule-2.2.1, for openSUSE-10.3, this time by 30PAH:

http://rapidshare.com/files/123022288/aMule-2.2.1-1.zj.openSUSE10.3.i586.rpm

which works for me.

Someone could update the wiki information about the compilation of aMule (and if you want rpm packaging) in the latest versions of openSuse? With that information is the latest version would be a great contribution

Here wiki page:

http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo_compile_on_openSUSE

You can get help of these old pages:

http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/SuSE_9.2_install_at_home
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/SuSE_9.3_install_at_home
