Got it running. I'm downloading 1436 files using amuled right now.  8)

The downside is, the gui (amule or amulegui) is behaving poor with such a number of files. The DownloadListCtrl hogs all CPU showing a cat with >1000 files. We really need to something about that.

Amuled is running now happily with more than 2000 files in "waiting" state.

It still gives Wx errors occaisonally.
