path for downloaded files
« on: November 29, 2009, 12:35:01 PM »

I have successfully installed aMule and already downloaded some files. Hoewever, I cannot find / view these. It looks like the directory mentioned in aMule (home/(myname/.aMule/Incoming is invisible. I have created a new directory and given the right path under Preferences/DIirectories/Incoming, but it looks like aMule is ignoring this and still downloda files on the above mentioned directory tha I cannot see.

.amule is invisible. You can still cd to it, and you can tell your file explorer to show invisible files or not. Default is not.

1) you have to restart it
2) it will only work when new files arrive. Already income files won't move over.
3) if you have categories each of them has its own incoming dir
