amule/Kademlia IO error

on startup>
2011-10-31 21:31:30: Prefs.cpp(123): Kademlia Preferences: IO error while reading prefs: SafeIO::EOF: Attempt to read past end of file.
2011-10-31 21:31:30: Indexed.cpp(240): Kademlia Indexing: CSafeIOException in CIndexed::readFile: SafeIO::EOF: Attempt to read past end of file.

using Xfce4, 2.6.38-12-generic, aMule version 2.3.1rc1. No apparent problems, but what does it mean?

Found answer> bad part file, deleted it, and no errors

No, your preferencesKad.dat somehow got broken. It stores your KAD ID. No big deal, it just gets regenerated.

You should fsck your harddisc however.
