webserver problem
« on: April 30, 2004, 04:27:18 PM »

I had the webserver working fine in port 10000 with rc1 and rc2.

Now I installed rc3. I start amuleweb without any problem, without error message, and he tells me that webserver is conected on port 10000, which is ok.

But I try to connect in a browser to address http://x.x.x:10000 and the conection fails.

It was working before and the only change was the installation of rc3. :(

hey,

you can help here to...
first can you try setting it back to the normal webserver port , 4711 and check if its working at localhost (or leave it at 10000) and check localhost,

and then try again from a different lan box?

thnx

From within the machine that is running amule it works with port 10000 and port 4711.

but outside doesn't work with either.

There seems to be a bug when connecting to amule's web server through LAN since some versions ago. Added to bug list.

Thanx for the report ;-)
Greetings.
