lost downloads in gui but I have both parts an mets files
« on: February 24, 2012, 05:32:40 PM »

I  don't know why it's happen, the only thing that I've done is to add a new HD on my server with amuled and restarted, on the first boot ubuntu 11.10 cant recognize the partition with Temp and Incoming files and when opened amulegui on local hosts download tab is empty but when mounting that partition the files are there.
after another restart the SO correctly mount the temp and icoming partition but I get always empty download tab...

Check if the temp and incoming folders in the config are still pointing to the location of your temp / incoming dirs.

I found the problem, seems that editing the folder from GUI doesn't work, infact starting amuled from terminal always check for temp and inc in my home.
I've edited ~/.aMule/amule.conf and made it point to the right folders and now it recognize the files.

Did you restart amuled after changing folders through amulegui?

I fount the problem,
when inserting a new hd in my system, it was recognized as sda and not sdb so the partition table was a mess.
I few words the inc and tmp folder link doesn't exist so amule went to the defauls...
