few sources, weird errors
« on: May 19, 2004, 10:43:58 AM »

Hi all,

Just installed 2.0.0-rc3 on my Gentoo box. I'm using wxgtk 2.4.2 and libcrypto 5.1. I'm behind a NAT/firewall, and have TCP 4661,4662 and UDP 4665, 4672 forwarded. I just upgraded from 1.2.6 because some update on my system broke something-or-other (the transfer list appeared blank, but would occasionally appear and quickly disappear again.)

Now, with 2.0, I'm getting very few sources. Files that had 60-100 sources two days ago now have 10-15. I'm connected to Razorback, and have a high ID.

Also, I'm getting a ton of errors like this:

"Client: username (IP.Add.re.ss), Banreason: Userhash changed
Client 'username' seems to be an agressive client and is banned from the upload queue"

They are appearing almost every second, all have the same IP address, which is MY public IP (private IP is 192.168.1.69).

If anyone can give me some insight into any of these problems (including my 1.2.6 problem), it would be most appreciated!

You mean when you get "Client: username (IP.Add.re.ss), Banreason: Userhash changed", "IP.Add.re.ss" is _your_ public IP?

P.S.: Please do not post public IP addresses ;-)

That's right, *MY* public IP. Weird, eh?

(Ain't nobody getting past my iptables... )
