Amuleweb and text mode browser
« on: May 24, 2004, 12:24:43 PM »

Hi, I would like to manage my amuleweb with a text mode browser, I've probed Lynx but this doesn´t support frames and it only show me the menu in the top, if i click a links it return to show me the menu at the top.
So I download Links that supports frames and tables but I enter to the amuleweb interface log in, and show me the menu at the top and the frame at the botom empty(loke mozilla) but when I click some link like "search" I return to the main page of amuleweb(where asks for the password) where I have to log in another time.

Someone knows some text mode browser that let's me browse by the amuleweb pages. I've  probed also Elinks and is the same as Links.

Thanks:

So the problem is that it's showing the top frame. INstead of selecting the top frame, select the body frame (I don't know it's name, just check) and have in mind the name of the diferent tabs's urls ;-) I guess that should work.

Thanks, but it doesn't work, how I've said links that support frames when you click a link returns to the main password page.
An with lynx that in pages with frames show the frames and you can select what do you want, but in this case doesn´t appear.
A suggestion would be to do a web page without frames, if it's not too difficult I would be able to try, I haven't a lot of time but...
What should I have to modify the amule.tmpl??

Thanks

yes, amule.tmpl, but I just checked and there are no frames, so it's some other problem with lynx. Maybe it just displays the first table, no more than one. Sorry I don't use Lynx, so I can't help. But, indeed, if you get some walkaround, PEASE, tell. There's quit a few people interested in this :-)
Greetings!
