How can i increase my trans er rate ?

I've got a ADSL 512K connexion. How can I configure Amule to have optimal transfer rates ?

stay connected as long as you can and share important files. Regulate max connections and lim connections on your own experience also.

There's really not much that can be suggested without empiric testing on your own computer/connection.
