« on: October 25, 2004, 01:19:37 AM »

Hello, all

I have a problem running webserver. I've followed instructions on setup and installation. when I ran amuleweb I get the messages that all is good and listening on port 7411. but when I connect to that port from unix side it closes connection. from windows sire (explores) it says page not found.

I've tried to locate any logs but was unsucessful. Please help

in amuleweb DLD (new window)

Creating client ...
Now, doing connection...
using host 'localhost.xxx.com' port 4712
trying to connect (timeout = 10 sec) ...
Succeeded! connection established.

|         aMule Web Server                           |
-------------------------------------------------------

use 'Help' for command list

Web Server: Started
WSThread: Thread started
WSThread: creared service
WSThread" created socket listening on : 4711

that is it

ggulchin,

These messages are ok.

Did you notice that in your first post you said port 7411, and that amuleweb is in fact using port 4711? Please, check that.

Cheers!

I have use tcp ports not unix sockets.

telnet 192.168.1.1 4711
Trying 192.168.1.1...
Connected to localhost.mccp.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

when connecting from explorer (192.168.1.2)

can not connect
