Installing wxGTK error
« on: January 03, 2005, 04:57:52 AM »

First I must tell u guys that i'm a complete noob in Linux, but I want too learn.
I have installed Fedora Core 3, 64bit

I have figured out that I need this wxGTK to run Amule, and I have figured out to install this I have to enter the "terminal" cd to the folder containing the files and type: ./configure -then- make -then- make install  ?? Took this from another install guide.

When I type ./configure this Looooooong list comes with some errors, can someone help me?

[frostnatt@dhcppc0 ~]$ cd /home/frostnatt/Desktop/test/wxGTK/wxGTK-2.4.2

libgcc.i386                              3.4.2-6.fc3            installed
Matched from:
libgcc
GCC version 3.0 shared support library.
Some GCC version 3.0 and later compiled libraries and/or binaries
need this shared support library.
http://gcc.gnu.org

libtermcap.i386                          2.0.8-39               installed
Matched from:
http://ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/GCC/

gcc-c++.i386                             3.4.2-6.fc3            installed
Matched from:
gcc-c++
C++ support for the GNU gcc compiler.
The gcc-c++ package adds C++ support to the GNU C compiler. It
includes support for most of the current C++ specification, including
templates and exception handling. The static standard C++ library and
C++ header files are included; however, the library for dynamically
linking programs is available separately.
http://gcc.gnu.org

cpp.i386                                 3.4.2-6.fc3            installed
Matched from:
http://gcc.gnu.org
